April - May 2010 Stop Press ***** At our last abc meeting (18 February) Angie Butler was (self) promoted to the position of co-director to help Lilla run the abc programme. ![]() abc (& friends) are very pleased to be holding a stand at the forthcoming Doverodde Book Arts Festival in Denmark (May 13-16). Angie Butler & Natalie McGrorty will be attending the festival & running the abc stand - work will feature (& hopefully be sold!) from UWE Staff & MA Multi-Disciplinary Printmaking students (who are abc members) & ‘friends’ who are showing include MA Printmaking Staff & Students from The University of Wales. ![]() Liz Hempel-Jorgensen (Project Co-ordinator) describes the Book Arts Festival:
In the old restored merchants' warehouse in Doverodde by the Limfjord, our festival is a meeting place for both participants and visitors. Amid the beautiful countryside you can experience book arts both formally - exhibition and talks - and informally - stands, workshops and book café.
