Chalk and Grass
John Dilnot
A book of eight ancient hill figures situated in the south east of England. The ancient hill figures were cut into
the grass covered chalk landscape. The original images for this book were linocuts. Here, the white paper is
equivalent to the chalk and the green ink deposit represents the grass.
