'Antithesis’ landscape as palimpsest: parallels 'thesis' presenting contrasting interpretations to specific landscapes and locations visited through different witnesses, eras, mediums and intentions, including works by Claude Monet (Pourville, France, 1880's) William Henry Millais (Lynton, N. Devon, 1857) and W.C. Crawford (Sound of Iona, Isle of Mull, 1930's) and with text written by Giles Sutherland, a contemporary response to the area on Mull.
