Verlag, books by artists, Mayne Island, British Columbia, Canada Perro Verlag, books by artists, was established by Jo Cook in 2005. In 2009 Perro Verlag acquired a Chandler and Price platen press with a few drawers of mismatched type. I have been teaching myself typesetting skills while printing book covers, broadsides, postcards and bookmarks.
