Piste Press, Calgary, Alberta, Canada The image is a linocut of Mount Rundle in Banff national park in Alberta, Canada. The text is handset and both were printed on a Vandercook 4t using rubber based ink. Off Piste Press was named after Lisa Isley’s love of backcountry skiing and because she is interested in producing work relating to mountain culture. Off Piste Press has some cold type and a Ludlow for linecasting. She prints on a Vandercook 4T cylinder press, and a Chandler and Price Gordon platen press. Her projects include broadsides, artist books, cards and bookmarks. Lisa enjoys the process of designing, printing, illustrating and binding books.  www.inabind.caback |
