Long Live the Weeds

the poem Inversnaid - by Gerard Manley Hopkins, and more recently
by Richard Mabey’s book Weeds, I have come to admire the
weeds in my garden. Their apparent fragility and beauty belies
their strength, virility and adaptability. I was planning to make a florilegium of them all - until I counted 34, and decided instead to choose a few of my favourites!  gbone@gbone.demon.co.ukback |
