| Two sets of bookmarks. My
works, which I like to call shadows, explore the concept of women and the
oppression caused by the fashion industry and the media as a whole. In my
works I attempt to explore how we, as women, in today's society live in
the shadow of the ideal image and in the process of this women tend to loose
their self-identity. Also through my art I want to try and confront people
and make them rethink their ideas on certain topics. One of the major issues
that I have looked at is feminism and people's denial of the label of being
