The bookmarks were relief printed by hand, using mounted foam board and acrylic paint. They were hand cut, and finished with a plaited, shirring elastic umbilical cord.

| I was interested in the
book as an unknown quantity, that upon the opening of the first page it
had the possibility to become anything, and go anywhere. The beginning,
even in a work seemingly without narrative, is the place where we all start,
