Each bookmark is numbered and signed as part of an edition of 100
but is unique. They differ in size, paper, colour
combination or layout, echoing the individuality
yet generic format of the (non artists!) book. The image on the obverse,
with text is a digital manipulation of an intaglio print of a 1970s
circuit board. The text allows for a wide variety of
interpretation referencing time, place, purpose and personal experience-
as in a book. The reverse is a digital
working of an intaglio image which has been double printed on top of
an embossed/ printed image of a body,
based on the Turin Shroud..."the Word was made flesh" ?
