Windscreen wipers

My bookmark came out of needing to draw some windscreen wipers for a book, and so I went to sit outside to sit inside the car to draw
them. I had, of course, never drawn windscreen wipers before, (who would?) but I got very involved with reducing their function to the
simplest image I could. The elongated format of a bookmark became the logical space of the windscreen... especially from sitting
inside looking out on a rainy afternoon. The process was letterpress printed over rain, which I made by spraying paint through a stencil.
