Baker’s Pride

My piece is about how the skilled baker is gradually being replaced by machine made, plastic wrapped, convenience bread. Bakeries are closing, and I fear that this trend is unlikely to reverse for a long time.

I am a London based printmaker who specialises in etching. My work is inspired by people, and I tend to make quiet portraits that really focus in on their subjects. I hope to continue to develop my skills to be able to express the beauty of the people that I depict.
