|7th Contemporary Artists' Book Fair, Halifax
Dean Clough Galleries, Halifax
13th March 2004
Books shown at the 7th Contemporary Artist’s Book Fair at Dean Clough Galleries, Halifax, include the launch of a new book project What’s in the Box? curated and co-ordinated annually by Tom Sowden for Masters students and staff at the School, many of whom have never made an artist’s book before.
At the School of Art, Media and Design at the University of the West of England, Bristol, the artist’s book plays a significant role in many areas of study and research. We have regular artist’s book exhibitions and publish a book arts newsletter each month. Letterpress, bookbinding, printmaking, digital print and desktop publishing methods are taught across the school for book arts production.
