Darek Kaca
One poem in the form of a book that can be spread out in an accordion style. The text is hand cut from the block and printed as a
dark trace on a light background. Having been embedded in the illustration, the text becomes a significant element of the image.

Born in 1960. Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lódz, Faculty of Painting and Graphic Art. Graduated in 1994. Painter, graphic and book artist. Teaches at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lódz. Awards: Grand Prix in the International Competition for a Graphic Sign of Darmstadt House in Plock (1996), honorary mention in the competition for the logo of the Contemporary Polish Book Art (1997). Has taken part in many solo and group exhibitions in Poland and abroad. His works are in museums and libraries in Poland and abroad (Tokyo, Stanford, Hamburg, Kuala Lumpur).
