Book selected: Great British Eccentrics, Reader’s Digest
New title: Odd birds
I came across the project quite late and was challenged by the limited amount of books left. My book was small and staple bound and, initially, uninspiring. Eventually, after toying with notions of eccentricity and considering then discarding a theme of tramp stories, I thought of odd birds – being a bit of one myself.
I played with lots of background techniques and found it interesting that the amount of work needed on each page to convey my message declined each time.
