Book selected: The Art of W. C. Fields, by William K. Everson
The idea came from the title of the original book and the text; “In the final analysis all that really matters about an artist is his work.” Thus much of the original book has been lost, leaving the essence of W. C. Fields work collected in a period style art portfolio.
Book block removed.
Front and back boards recovered with hand marbled paper and hand lettered book plate.
Ribbons and flaps added to create a portfolio which stores mounted photographs of W.C. Fields, selected text from the book and W. C. Fields' quotations.
