Original book title: Ossip Zadkine Jean Cassou, 1962
Zadkine was an artist about whom I knew nothing. The altered version of the book is a record of what I found out about him by altering the plates and reading through snippets of the text. A series of images pasted into the book show many dozens of frames depicting the crossing of Clifton suspension bridge, as I make my way from one side to the other, reminiscent of my developing (but never quite complete) relationship to Zadkine.
