An ABPP loan exhibition

Å reise - to travel is a result of a number of artists’ books - bokkunstbøker which deal with how we travel around the world.

      

The books presented in this exhibition range from journals and photographic documentation to trips by boat, bicycle and car. From real trips to travels of the imagination.
The books come from the
Artists' Books Partnership Program (ABPP) at University of the West of England, Bristol, UK, Imi Maufe and Norwegian artists under the auspices of Vågsbunnen fellesatelier.

Imi Maufe is an English artist, much of whose work is about travel, and who works as artistic supervisor at Vågsbunnen fellesatelier. Imi ran a series of bookmaking workshops prior to the exhibition.
