The conference included an accompanying exhibition of artists' books selected from the collection at the University of Brighton.
Sarah was invited to present at the conference, and gave a talk focusing on The quiet democracy of the contemporary artist's book (or why do artists make books?
Sarah also showed some examples of, altered books, performance books, and artists' using traditional production methods, projects and networks for artists' books, including our AHRC supported project which is looking at examples of books using both new and old technologies.
