Clocks are ultimately about our relationship with time and our obsession in recording and measuring. All the cut out numbers
are in response to our counting and measuring systems. They also represent the time taken in turning the pages of the book
whilst reading the bottom cutouts.

The bottom cut outs are all quotes that I seem to have been collecting for years (!) that relate to time which show our
fascination, humour and our resignation at its inevitable passage.
