Scott's Prose Works, Vol .4 No. 2
Original book title: Biographical Memoirs of Eminent Novelists Sir Walter Scott, Bart. 1834
It is hard to begin with a book that is over 170 years old! A book about eleven peoples' lives, two of which were women, with quite amazing histories. Initial ideas of making paper cut out people from the pages didn't work so the contents are reduced to just the page numbers. I worked with this book in my hand and the Internet at my side. You can read the contents of the book (now no longer possible) or you can research using the Internet or even buy a complete unaltered book from an online store. Some people's stories are recorded, others just pass into the history of time. Now this book is a shell containing the ghosts of this strange collection of past people.
