Each bookmark is individual and one of a kind exploring mark making and mixed media. I am allowing and capturing elements of chance with an intuitive response to previous marks; layering, dripping, imprinting, accentuating, methods that seem as organic as my inspiration. Elusive patterns and forms from the natural world can be spotted; intricate dendritic and fossil like patterns can be found along side loose abstracted marks.
