As a maker of artists' books I use many different forms from all over the world, each influenced in their origin by the materials available.
For this bookmark I wanted to show how natural materials available in Europe contributed to the way our book form developed. And I
decided that the bookmark had to be a mini-book in itself, so that the information had an appropriate visual placement.
