The Bookmarks have been designed as Flashcards to aid literacy and numeracy in childhood, and have been made using the most basic of childhood materials - paper, scissors (aka kraft knife!) and glue, and technique in the pop-up wings of the Ladybird. The Ladybird seemed like a most appropriate motif especially as co-incidentally Ladybird Books will be celebrating their 100th birthday in 2015.
