"Beautiful destruction" depicts architecture of the city of Belgrade, destroyed during the NATO bombardment in 1999. The artwork addresses the transcendence of modernity in its social and historical context, questioning the politics of architectural destruction. The concept of war fascinates me as a propagandistic phenomenon of applying violence and destruction in order to justify political ends.
