Always Judge A Book By Its Cover
A multimedia artist, Nikki's practice is constantly evolving through playful experimentation, collecting, making, cutting, destroying, remaking, analysing, thinking and more playing, knowing there is always a story waiting to be told. The book related works are being developed as an on-going series of work called The Book Shelf, where the inspiration comes from found books that have in some way been discarded. Chosen only for a title that resonates with me, I create new narratives and take the original story on a different journey. 'Always judge a book by its cover' is a digital editioned print that uses some of the titles in the collection.
