The image for Bookmarks 2011 came from a three dimensional artwork I have recently finished. I have been
looking back at my collection of images and prints and how they mark a journey in time. There is a procedure
of classification, which brings order, time and connections with memory. The piece itself combines artists'
books as well as altered books and lots of text. I thought the format and idea would lend itself to the Bookmarks.
For the bookmarks I took at detail of the Archivist's Tower layered with text then this was digitally printed on Somerset Enhanced.
