Photography is my preferred medium and showing the process is an integral part of my work. I took a series of photographs of cameras and light meters and made several pieces of work from the photographs, including solar plate etchings. I took some photographs of the solar plate prints and changed them to negative and have printed twenty-five of these on white card to resemble a piece of film.
Another twenty-five bookmarks are printed using the original photographs printed onto red card to resemble a piece of film. The red card represents the lighting conditions in the darkroom. All the photographs on the bookmarks are printed in negative to demonstrate another process in photography. The other fifty are fragments of the photographs printed in negative on white and red papers and encased using black and white card.
