![]() Maureen Piggins, Toronto, Canada Maureen Piggins is a Toronto-based visual artist and graphic designer. Her work, including artist books, writing, drawing and painting has been exhibited internationally and is held in collections including the permanent collection of the MOMA. She holds a BFA from the OCAD University and Design and is a member of CBBAG (Canada) and The Center for Book Arts in New York. Her signed edition of 100 hand bound giclée bookmarks is based on her 2009 artist book entitled "Echo", an open edition, 64-page French fold accordion giclée, incorporating her original poetry and artwork. The book, centered around her mother's death from breast cancer, was featured at the Cancer Council Victoria Arts Awards (Australia), and has been exhibited throughout Spain, Italy, Austria, Australia, Canada and the USA.
