The text for my bookmarks was taken from "The Mill on The Floss" by George Eliot, a book
concerned with the effect of knowledge: bookish versus practical.
I am a printmaker, but I love reading and words, and the ability of books to open doors to the unknown.
I would like this bookmark to be a reminder to the reader that they are entering an un-explored world
when they open the page, or revisiting a place they love.
The bookmarks were printed using letterpress and embossing on heavy Rives paper.
